How far can I get?

Prototype · Frankfurt

Pick a start point: the map colours itself by travel time by rail, tram and bus. Green is near, red is far. The “Reliability” view shows how punctual the arrival station is, by our figures.

How it works

  • Everything is calculated in your browser from the timetable; we do not send your start point or your position. When the map and timetable load, our storage provider (Cloudflare) sees your IP address, see the privacy policy. It uses the timetable of a typical Tuesday (13 October 2026), 4 minutes to change and walking at 5 km/h.
  • This is the planned timetable, not live data: delays and cancellations are not in the travel time. That is exactly why there is a “Reliability” view.
  • So far we know reliability only for stations with train service (share of stops under 6 minutes late, November 2025 to September 2026 without July). For trams and buses we do not have a history yet, so they show as grey.
  • Prototype: no route directions, no street names on the map. Available for Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt, and as a station map for all of Germany (rail only).
